My wife and I have been working on our first joint venture together in the illustrious arena of the WIP and were blessed greatly with the arrival on sunday the 14th of march 2010 at 12:20 in the afternoon with a very healthy baby boy. His name is Caelan Andrew Finnie and was instantly our most wondrous achievement yet. My wife and I are proud and extremely blessed to have him in our lives and I wanted to share with the BladeForums community my pride and joy.

Here are his measurements::D

8 lbs. 7 oz.
21 inches long
materials are as follows:
100% pure american baby boy

:thumbup:congratulations! very cute baby you are blessed indeed.
plus, Its even more fun than making knives:D

Congrats to both you and the wife, there is nothing greater than the joy of welcoming new life into your world. Your son is a beautiful boy, seeing the pics reminded me the day that my own son was born. You are truly blessed!
By the by, seems like our wives handle most of the work in those types of Works In Progress, would you agree? ;)

yes I would have to agree with you on the work load. and she is without a duobt, my hero.
even though the labor was long (36 + hrs) and the fact that he ended up being too big for her pelvis so she had to endure another two hrs of c- sectoin to bring him into this world.both she and I want another.

Thats almost exactly how my fiance's labor went, About 30 hours labor and pushing then they finally decided to do a c section.

Congrats again!!!

Congrats,
God has given your wife and you a very wonderful gift.May you bring him up to be a great man.

American boy + Good Christian Raising = GREAT AMERICAN MAN

God bless,Keith

Well done, that's a cute baby boy.

You know this will be a very looooong WIP right?. ;)

haaa..yeah... I know:) thats why i decided to leave out the "before birth" portion of the WIP to shorten up the thread:O) that and I didnt want to break my normal WIP thread tradition and actually show the beginning and in between stuff... haa...:D

Congrats. They are a lot more fun to make than knives, however your job there is done for a while. Have fun making knives with any free time you do have :p. Glad to hear mom and baby are fine though
