Newly acquired Esee Candiru

Just got it today in the mail. Was looking for a small fixed blade for EDC, and the Candiru seemed to fit the bill. This is my first fixed blade and I'm diggin' it. Got the canvas micarta handle with it and am ready to do a little mod. I plan on removing the coating and forcing a patina. This knife is way smaller than I expected which is fine. Next on the list is an Izula. On to the pics. I put my watch in the mix to show size comparison. Also threw in my GEC Pemberton and small Sebenza.





Have the factory sheath at the moment. Tied a fob to it and attached a Shiner bottle cap to it.

Nice. Handled a Candiru with those scales at BLADE and was impressed how good it felt in-hand. Great little usable fixed blade that's easy to carry.

Thanks for the comparison shots. I wasn't aware that it was that small. Looks like it would be very useful and convenient for EDC.
