About a week and a half ago BF member paulhilborn mentioned that he used to have a Case 6207 just like mine and regretted selling it. That began an email exchange in which he patiently sent me pictures of some of his beautiful knives he was offering to trade for the 6207. I finally decided on two Schrades, a Schrade Walden 236 jack and a Craftsman peanut made by Schrade.
They arrived in yesterday's mail. I snapped a few quick photos this morning, while trying to dodge the raindrops (as you can see not always successfully).

I asked him how much he wanted to throw in the Case 6244 jack from 1978, since I have a 6344 stockman, also from 1978. He gave me a fair price, but I decided to stick with just the two Schrades. When the package arrived yesterday, it included the Case with a note saying "The 6244 is 'on the house' my friend. I'll never carry it and I trust you will."
How amazing is that? Thank you Paul!
