In the descriptions for the Tanto Lite and Outdoorsman Lite, they are said to have "newly designed handles" consisting of Polypropeylene guard, pommel and core surrounded by deeply checkered Kray-Ex for a non slip grip! What were these handles made of before they became "newly designed"? I do remember when the sheaths were made from a soft nylon material before the current piece of plastic they use now. I liked the nylon sheath better.
Also why can't the handle design of these knives be applied to the OSS sub hilt fighter? How much nicer it would be with a stiff Polypropylene guard and sub hilt over the soft flex material currently in use!
