newly found Viking sword !

kinda cool to think that for just a while, before they became a super-power and dominated a lot of the world with naval supremacy, England was afraid, and by the looks of this sword , with good reason. Gold is heavy, and I'd bet that sword handled wonderfully, the pommel weight etc, would offset the blade. be interesting to know what the balance was like on the sword.
