Newt Livesay Zipper question

I was browsing Newt's website, and was looking at the Zipper. Do these things actually have a sharp edge, or are they just pointy? Anyone have one? Impressions?

I've got one - and the answer to your question is that it's primarily a pointy knife - not a cutter / slasher. The grind is very obtuse, but there is an "edge". Don't expect to shave hair with it - but remember that the design is intended as a low profile penetrator. Sits very discreetly behind a neck tie. I like mine, but you may find them hard to get due to Newt's current status (disasters and all._

Financial related.

Some bad business deals and too much stock in MCI if I remember correctly. He was forced into laying off his staff and is back to a one man shop status after moving out of his old facilities to a shed on his property.

That & his computer crashing (losing customer records, etc) & a couple of pieces of equipment gone to hell from what I remember.

I bought the Zipper for a former girlfriend. She liked the idea of a neck knife but wanted something slim that could be easily concealed between her.... uh, well you know.

Anyway, It is what Daniel L described. Basicly just pointed at the tip. It does have a dull, chisel ground edge that for the life of me, I couldn't sharpen. BTW, it's VERY thin and a little difficult tio hang on to IMHO
