Ron Newton and Tad Lynch teamed up and this fine bowie is the result. I'm sure that there is a collector that's going to be very happy with this one.....

Beautiful tight Ladder pattern Damascus,
Creamy ivory handle...

What's not to like?

Kudos to all involved!

Thanks for the compliments guys. Roger here's the breakdown:
Newton: forged and normalized the 10-3/8" ladder pattern damascus blade.(15n20 and 1095) Sent blade and walrus ivory home with Tad.
Lynch: ground and prepped blade for heat treat.
Newton: heat treated blade.
Newton: Stabilized ivory.
Lynch: Re-ground and hand sanded blade, built 416 fittings and shaped ivory.
Newton: Made damascus takedown knob, prepped tang for takedown capability and performed takedown epoxy bedding. Etched blade.
Lych: Etched damascus takedown knob and put the final finishes on the knife. I think he even sharpened it!
Ward: Photography. Thanks Chuck!

Tad told me about this piece last week when I spoke with him. Now I can see why he was so excited!! Awesome work by two of the finest knife makers in Arkansas. I want one!!

WOW!! Love the damascus and blade grinds.

That ivory could be an awesome canvas for a bit of scrim.
