Got them profiled and started the grinds but as you can see I was tired and all over the place. So did the sensible thing and stopped for now. The line-up is:

1) Artsy-shmartsy Dagger (5160)
2) Small bowie (1095) (first for sale hopefully)
3) Small utility/hunter/filet knife (first stainless for me CPM154)

I drew this today, it's gonna be a W2 hamon chef, about 10-1/2". Green micarta, integral. A riff on that fighter I did the WIP of a while back. Custom order.

Tomorrow, it's off to the power hammers with a big rebar/W2 lollipop to forge down.

I just finished a big, nerve-wracking project. Also, I have a Charles Ochs special forces bowie on the bench, for a touch-up polish/makeover for a customer.

Great looking knives! I'm just finishing a batch up so i have none officially on the (outdoor) bench yet... I'm doing my orders in order, lol.

Next up is a kata-kira-ba chisel grind kwaiken in titanium and a monster 5160 custom chopper, I also have a pry-bar knife design I'd like to start when I get my new steel order in.

I'm also going to slip in a kiridashi or two and who knows what else.

Patrice they are looking great so far!

Salem I really like the design, as a former chef that would be what I'd look for in a larger chef's knife. :D

That's gonna be awesome Salem!

Mr. Sharp, progress pics will follow depending on how much or how little I screw up. ;)

Looking good, guys. Sorry for the bad pics, but here is my current batch of knives right before, and right after, heat treat and a little damascus pendant I just finished up. I have to redo the HT on 3 of the blades because they warped and I wasn't able to correct it, so it looks like I'll be doing the anneal/straighten/normalize/quench thing on them.

Look forward to seeing your blades progress, Patrice; I'm sure these will be even better than the last.

Great looking stuff Patrice! I like them all. We're both fans of your work. looking forward to seeing more of that dagger.
That will be quite the sexy chef there Salem! Same goes for you^^^ That integral is awesome.
Here is a pic of what we have on the bench right now.

The first two are a new design, I figured they would be good for camping, etc. one is full flat and drop point, the other is sabre ground and clip point. I'm thinking micarta on these two...
The third is a 6" Coffin handled short bowie for a forum member and local S.D. guy. She is getting Amboyna burl and s.s. pins
Fourth, is a redo of our original recurve fighter and is spoken for by another forum member. She is getting red/back G10 liner and Holly scales with mosaic pins/tube I really like this new handle design paired with this blade shape. What do you guys think?
Next up is our small recurve fighter getting Black micarta, another order.
The last two are a 9" version of our recurve fighter. I got a request from a forum member to make one with the 9" blade. The Flat ground one is Ol' Bessie getting some real nice purple-heart. The other is sabre ground.

I can't wait to get these out and get some of my new designs prototyped as well

Paul, you are a busy boy! ;) Stop it with the jewelery stuff will ya? If The One Who Must Be Obeyed sees this my workload will explode. ;-)

Dan, thanks. I love those big recurves, can't wait to see them finished!

Gotta keep the women folk happy, Patrice! It's a fun change of pace from knives on occasion, but I just don't have the dexterity to work with such small things on a regular basis.

Diamond J, those are some sleek looking recurves!

I've got about a dozen I'm working on, two for some Missionaries currently serving in our area (they designed and did "most" of the work :)). Now I just need to figure out a jig or something to do some scandi's on the 5 bushcrafters I have sitting here...

Nice looking knives, guys! Salem, I wouldn't be upset if you decided to do another WIP with that one ;)!

A few Bushcrafts, SharpFingers, and a small Camper (needs to be ground). They have all since been heat treated and ready to finish.

These are all 2011 knives. Two-thirds were designs I drew up and the rest are "emulations" of knives others made. The two on each side are D2 (using up what I have), and those that have scale on them are 1080, and the rest are O1. I'm still trying to find myself.
