I already have the Jr Sod Buster in CV and I'd like to stay away from Stockman as I already have a few that were givn to me.(2 Bokers and a Kabar). I've been looking at the Mini Copperhead Warnie or a Peanut. Which one should I buy? Any other suggestions for a second Case knife?

The Peanut is a great little #2 EDC. I've had mine for a bit over two months now and I've grown to really admire this little knife. It sounds like you've got some of the larger sizes covered. This little guy will endear you and slips into the watch pocket unnoticed.

Mine's in yellow delrin CV. It's F&F and quality is excellent for a knife under $30.

The obligatory pic... :)

Texas Jack if you're ok with the colors they offer. I'd rather have a Texas Jack than a peanut in pocket but I'm not a big amber bone collector.

Depends on what you use it for. For my cutting needs I like the wharnie mini copperhead, here are both the minis.

Best regards

Robin

Peanuts are great and an icon of Case much like the Sodbuster but I am a huge fan of the Texas Jack. The texas jack is a more useful size for me and I love the unique wharnie/pen blade shape on the secondary blade. The amber bone and CV age beautifully also. By far one of my favorite patterns from Case.

My favorite Case pattern would be tough to narrow down. I really like the saddlehorn and the copperhead(not the mini) but I have been using the russlock lately. If you want a little smaller knife look at the tear drop then. I find the peanut a little small but recently picked another one up.

The new Case Bose production tear drop is a great knife. This one is the shot show special but it's available in bone bare head and bolstered for a very good price IMO. The bones have a pen and a spear.

Best regards

Robin

Sway Back Jack would be another good one to check out. Wharnie main, Pen secondary. Love mine in Chestnut Bone CV

With fixed bladed knives being my latest kick, may I make the suggestion of maybe this one....

A Case branded, (Ontario Knife Company made), product. Hey, it'll certainly keep things interesting ;) Just consider it a lockback which locks forever, lol! ;)

Besides, there is just something about a well phosphated (aka parkerized) steel finish :)
