A few months ago, I bought a small Sebenza 21. I'm thinking about buying another CRK, but wasn't quite sure which one. I'm torn between the Sebenza 25 and the large Sebenza 21 Insingo. They both appeal to me, and I can only afford one. The Insingo blade is appealing, but there's something about the 25 that I just like. If you have any advice or thoughts, please lay them in the comments. Thanks.

I really like both you mentioned. The 25 may be my all time favorite knife but the Micarta Insingo is a really close second. I know this post doesn't really help but I don't think you could go wrong with either.

If you want a definitive contrast with the light small 21, go with the heavy big 25. Then you will have all bases covered. At the same time, if I'm being honest with myself, I think maybe my large 21 Insingo is the most useful knife I might carry, but the 25 is very cool looking, and has a beefyness to it that is awesome.

I think you will end up trying both, so maybe roll some dice. They both have their merits.

I have both, I really like both I might give a slight advantage to the 25, I love the feel of it, really solid and I like the big pivot, it fits my hand really, really well. Have you ruled out the 25 with Micarta inlays?

Like DRK, I have both and like both. In fact these are the only two CRKs I own. They are both great but if forced to choose one, I would go with the 25. Just an all around great knife.

I don't like the look of inlays on the 25. I do like the looks of them on the 21 though, but I don't have any plans of purchasing any Sebenzas with inlays. It's not worth the extra money to me, and I do like the simplicity of the non-inlaid Sebbies.

The 25 is like the zaan and 21 rolled into one. Some of both qualities in one CRK, it don't get no better than that. I love the 25, so you know my vote.

Get the Ti-lite. It's better than a sebenza. Sealed bearings need no maintenance. Prettier finish. Pocket clip that won't give it up for anything but a good tug.
