So I finally, FINALLY, managed to grab hold of the cts-204p para 2 sprint and the southard as well. And I must say, CTS-204P is my all around favorite steel. I love how tough it is, and the edge retention is fantastic. It is also very easy to sharpen. Just a few passes with the sharpmaker leaves a hair popping edge. I've cut and battoned wood, roots, twigs, and in the end, I've still got an edge that can slice paper... Easily. Its safe to assume that I'm a fanatic over this steel!
I've been wanting to take my little family of CTS-204P spydies for a photo shoot, but I just haven't had the time.
Anyways, I have been wanting another spyderco in this steel to increase my spydie family!
I noticed however that these two use "earthy colors". The para 2 uses forest green I believe it was called, and the southard has earth brown.
Does anybody know if the next spyderco with have an earthy color?
Maybe like a foliage green Millie or even in desert tan?? Or possibly a stone gray manix 2?
Let me know, and also post any ideas for the next CTS-204p spydie!
