Are the guard and handle of the Next Generation Ka-bars affixed so as to prevent moisture from penetrating beneath the handle?
 
I believe so, yes.

This knife kicks ass. My favorite knife still, and the knife I always grab if I think there is a poential threat to my well being or a friend of mine's...
