HI,

I have just started to look at tomahawks and saw a few different ones that I like. I will move to Alaska in around 3 or 4 years and will hunt and want something I can use. I also have a great interest in a hawk for self-defense. I work in law enforcement and have a back ground in akido,I have seen a tomahawk from a hawk maker named TWO HAWK, the tomahawk is the warbeast which one do you think would be better??. And why? Thanks,Kev

HI,

I would like to hear from someone here to if the Next Generation ranger series is a better tomahawk than the warbeast by two hawks or not?? and why or are they both about the same??. Thanks,Kev

Hey Kev,

They are both different.

Warbeast is larger and heavier with a hammer poll, wooden handle, sharpened edges on three sides, has a leather wrap reinforcing the head, doesn't come with a sheath and costs $250 with a year wait.

The NG Ranger is smaller and lighter with a spike, acetal handle,
one sharpened edge, comes with a cordura sheath, and costs $330 (not sure about the wait time.)

So which one is better will depend on what features you find desirable, and what material construction you favor.

Buy the NG Ranger. It is the best you can buy for hard use.

The only other choice would be a VT Tactical.

Anyone go a side by side pic comparison...
