What does it weigh in ounces?
I don't see that on the website. It may be there but I am missing the info.
This hawk is a beaut. I am thinking it may be better than a survival knife. I will always have my large sebenza for the delicate projects and paired with this hawk I think it would in some ways make more sense than a large heavy blade. It obviouly would have more power. And the sense of security along with the utility would make a good companion on the trail.
I fly mapping projects over uninhabited terrain throughout the southwest and Mexico. I think this would be good insurance in case of an unexpected stop out there. You could make a quick shelter with less energy and get a fire together.
