I predict a 1st round Kay-O. My Dumpster Mutt is a worthy blade, but will be fighting out of its' class against the, cruiser weight, BK2!

Returned to the scene of the first UCC (Ultimate Cutting Championships), out near DEEKS CREEK.
Beautiful sunny weather this time, dry roads, and SNOW. Not to mention high winds from the North and sub zero temps in the shade.
driving up:
the access road had about 1" of solid ice under the snow. I didn't make it as far as the 4x4 crowd. Time for chains....
almost made it up.....backed down and drove up in reverse.
what a view, and what a different view than last time
grabbed my gear, 50lbs of knives, kit and food

First up, make fire, its bloody cold and windy! Alas the fire pit is frozen and covered in snow........
no prob, I plan for this every time i have a fire, by leaving lots of wood . flip it over, bang off the snow, dry fire surface.
time to go to the dark side and bring out the Junglas
didn't need to chop too much wood, there was lots of DRY dead sticks found by looking UP.
the starter fuel
SOG NorthWest Ranger prepping fatwood sticks
fatwood+charcloth+dried grass and cattail fluff match

the Contenders! my modded BK2 Landshark VS the Scrapyard Dumpster Mutt
the FIGHT! cross baton thru this green alder. TKO! BK2 bites deep in one hit
Dumpster Mutt tried , but threw in the towel
to be fair, I got a green stick and tried some chopping. The Mutt chopped thru in 3 swings. But the Bk2 did another TKO, one chop.

used the Izula to dice the Chorizo into my #10 coffee can billy
a little sautee action
BEANS
toasting Portugese buns and simmering beans and sausage (also making some char cloth in the tin on the left)
cutting the cheese
YUM! dont get better than warm crusty buns, aged cheddar and beans.
