Been trying to move up to that next tier of knives. So far I have a Spyderco shaman, benchmade griptillian 551-1, 940-2, spydiechef and other knives in that range. Just bought a crk Umnumzaan and should be receiving it tomorrow. But what’s next? Help! Looking at maybe a medford, benchmade anthem, possibly a hinderer but just want to know what else is out there, under $600 Or I might save up for a medford marauder.

Main importance is fit and finish, and a good warranty. Under 4 inches, would prefer non flipper only knives, no serrations. Those are the only parameters. Let me know if I missed something

You done jumped into the abyss quite quickly my friend. Just remember to shout, "Weeeeeheeeeeheeee" on the way down. :D

Like Owen said, carry and enjoy the Zan for awhile.

My first thought was Olamic but then I re-read non flipper. Most Olamic are flippers but they have a few non-flippers. $600 is about where they start, although you can always search the exchange too.

I'll defer to more knowledgeable people for more suggestions, you are admittedly well out of my price range.

Either way, good luck. You have some great knives already.

I think you should add a Delica, there is some in M390 and S90V you can get a hold of right now. Otherwise it's the o'l VG10(not a big fan).

The Delica is such a stellar, classic and iconic knife. And as a bonus feature the backlock is self closing, this knife will never open on you unless you want it to.

Just a fantastic design.

I completely agree. Honestly if anything I want the st nicks delica. Really like the red on black

Under his previous profile name he's had a delica or two. I'd at least wait until that Umnumzaan gets to you and put some miles on it before you go looking for the next! If you can that is. It is a sickness :D:p

+1 on the Delica
Use that Umnumzaan for a while and decide for yourself if the price tag is worth it.
It ends up being worth it to most, but many are just as happy with knives that cost far less.
I have CRKs that rotate through my EDC, but my Delica is truly carried everyday.

I hear that. I have the Spyderco salt which is similar but I miss my delicas. I either want that Damascus one with the blue frn or the st nicks. Will definitely keep my eye out. I’d have to say my most used knife is my para 2 or my spydiechef

With your budget, and since you already have a CRK, I would say look at the Medford Slim Midi Marauder or the Hinderer non-flipper. I have been very happy with the build quality of our knives from these two companies.

Two others from Medford to consider are the Colonial and the Infraction, however they are fairly thick, so check the specs. My carbon-fiber Infraction is one of my favorite knives.

Do you have a way of maintaining your knives edges? I would say you already have some great knives. I don't know if you sharpen your knives but it's a great thing to learn how to do and allows you to really use what you have.

Yea I sharpen my knives, but I only have the Spyderco sharpmaker. I can get hair shaving sharp, but obviously can’t do mirror edges or anything like that
