Next knife purchase help

I tend to gravitate towards Spyderco. I am wanting one in Cruwear. My current models being considered are PM2 and Manix 2. I have both in other steels. PM2 in S45VN amd Manix 2 in S30V. I am leaning towards the Manix 2 as it seems to go for about $37 less than the PM2. Both are great knives. I haven't seen the Manix 2 lightweight in Cruwear. I have seen it in SPY27 and magnacut.

Thoughts?
 
Spyderco has released several versions of the fullweight Manix in Cruwear with G10, CF and micarta scales, but there aren't any lightweight versions at this time. You might want to consider Magnacut, as its performance is very similar to Cruwear but with much better corrosion resistance.
 
Of those, I prefer the the Manix 2.

Love the PM2 as well, but I honestly prefer the Para 3 and the Stretch 2 over it anyway.

If your set on Cruwear then you will like it, its a great steel. But as another commenter also said, I would opt for Magnacut over Cruwear if available at a reasonable price.
 
There are several new knives to be released and available, Being 15v magnacut spy27 etc…
There are also crucarta in production. Really are a lot choices available for you to weigh out.

I've had many Manix 2s and Para 2s, and they are both amazing knives. For me it comes down to in pocket and slim profile in hand the Para 2 wins out. And with full steel liners has the same strength as the Manix.
 
I prefer the Manix 2 over the PM2, but you won’t be making a mistake with either knife. Get the one that looks best to you as either are quality knives.
 
You cannot go wrong. Pick the one you like more

However IMHO in doesn’t really make sense to get a knife you already have just for a different steel
S30v, s45vn and Cruwear are very close and very different in the same time

For a different steel I would rather get a different knife

I have a para 3 in Cruwear and it’s a very nice edc
I am usually more into 3.5” knives…. It the para 3 is fine and Cruwear works fine

I already have a Native 5 spy27 and while the Cruwear version is tempting I am fine with spy27 ;)

If you like larger knives, give a try to a military 2 in Cruwear

All good advice in this thread and really can’t go wrong! Definitely look at Military 2 and Para 3 as mentioned. So many options with Spyderco

Love the Manix2. Love the Military and Military2. Not a fan of the PM2 at all.

My current EDC has CruWear (Adamas) and it’s a great all around steel for me. Then again , I really like S30V and MagnaCut too.
