Next paycheck im ordering a hellsrazor. Is this a good model?
Will it increase in value after purchase it if dont use it?

As far as I know there have never been any bad Busse models and all appear to keep or increase value with age. They're worth whatever you pay.

I would recommend you buy the knife that best fits your expected use.

It doesn't really matter how valuable it is if it doesn't fulfill your needs. :)

Are you going for investment or use?

They can be mutually exclusive in decision making.

While a certain model may fit both, the version of that model which fits your plans may change.

I've not seen any model lose value, other than through aftermarket modifications. Now the market for each model will be best at different times, but that is just the nature of the beast.

Buy it and beat it.

Once you do you'll know why these blades go up in value.

Buy it she'll go up eventually! Now I wish I hadn't sold all of my E handles so soon!:(

I can tell you why I chose this model. I think it is an awesome all around knife. The blade is 7 inches - so can be used for medium chopping without any problems - (at least that's what I think because even though I ordered the knife a month ago, I'll have it in the middle of july... )
It's quite wide - so in need you can dig with it. It's 3/16 - so even though HR is quite a big knife - it should not be too heavy - and that's important for backpacking/ hiking. Although it's relatively thin - for a Busse knife:D - it's sabre ground with this new technology - so it should be tough as nails, and yet it should silce well. In the end it has great tip and a swedge - so piercing shouldn't be any problem. To all this add GREAT steel and micarta handle. Show me more usefull knife! And it's mean looking too:D :D :D
Conclusion: buy it!

I'll be the naysayer here. I don't see any the HR offering any advantages over the SJT or NOe/SFNO, other than immediate availability. If you are going to wait, you may want to keep your options and eyes open. You never know what will go up on the block pre/post-Blade to fund the lucky hogs' party bills.

I just like the design and the availability. It seems just the right size for me. I find that big knives are unweildly for me. I know they have great chopping and stabbing properties but they are to slow to be efficient fighters. So the hells razor seems like a good blend. It will be my first hunk af infi so im very happy. Dont kill my buzz man.:D

Heh, heh. Don't you know the motto?
