next purchase a emerson ?

My next purchase i'm going to wither get a CQC11 or CQC8.

Any sugestions and reviews from you guys that can help me out.

I can only speak about Emerson's designs. I have an old BM-Emerson 975S which is no longer made. When Emerson parted with BM, he of course took his designs. The only knife that now compares to mine is the CQC Super 7. If the knives you are considering are anything like the Super 7, you'll like them. Emerson's designs aside, his reputation is one of quality, so you won;t have any worries there.

When Emerson first began making Production folders, quality was spotty at best. Things have definitely gotten better. No complaints regarding the quality of the Mini-Commander I own. :thumbup:

I have the Combat Karambit and I love it.
Should get the CQC-10 this week and I'll let you all know what I think of that.
I love his designs, but I think you should get the CQC-11, or the P-SARK, which are both on my list after I pay for my new bow

the I&I tanto is KINDA similar to the 975, in blade length anyway, the handle is totally different though, its like a custom viper, the I&I is hard to find though and expensive when ya do, the super SOCFK also would have a blade similar in length to the 975.

imho ya should look at the CQC12, imho its the very best production right now, has a frame lock, its almost a std "V" grind, a very nice knife, its is a little higher than most of the others though.

the CQC13 is similar to the '12 but is a liner lock, its also a good one, i like the blade shape and the handle.

i have a specwar custom ZBG CQC8 and 2 production '8s, its also a great knife,

as ya can see the '11 isnt high on my list, but its a good knife, i just prefer others more myself, i would get either a CQC12, CQC8, CQC13 or a SOCFK if it was me.

all the emersons are good though imho.
