Actually since I`m not making knives for orders, there is no pressure to get them done, so even if it`s only a few it won`t matter. Besides, I`m happiest when I`m in the shop. Also, my bills are not taking a break, I kind of need to have a place to live.

I guarantee I won`t be working the 22nd. It`s Hayley and Hanna`s first day of Christmas break, and I`m taking them out for the day. We will be going down around Gilman then over to Fairbury for lunch at a converted 1890`s bank that is now a café. The girls both love old buildings and shopping in little gift shops. It`s going to be Grampa and the Girls Day!

Are you going to McDonalds Family Restaurant? (It's not the Mcdonalds with the golden arches, the owners name is actually Ronald Mcdonald!)
Did you know that the local paper is called THE BLADE. Interesting!
I love driving that area in the winter and spotting the big Pines in front of all the century old farms, all planted about the same time, and purchased as seedlings fro a guy that sold them of his wagon back in the 1800's to the new sodbuster farmers, most of which had no tree's at all in their new yards)

Wish I could tag along. Sounds like a lot of fun. Enjoy your day with the elves, Grandpa!

I don`t know the name of it, it`s a brick building on one of the corners on the main street.
