I'd buy a Sebenza again if it were ZDP and keep it. I'm thouroughly impressed with this metal's edge holding.
Otherwise, my current one is up for sale on the Knife Exchange (websight model), till they make one with better metal. I never liked Spyderco's and barely still to. The blade play is bad. I dislike the blade design and the locking mechanism. But now I carry one because of the steel's performance. Kinda like an ugly rust bucket car with a dragster motor, pure performance. I'm still unhappy that a Spyderco of all knives, is my EDC.
Now, if a Sebenza were made of the ZDP blade material, I'd buy it and keep it in a heartbeat. The lockup, fit and finish and design may be the best I've ever seen on any knife that I've owned and I have owned Darel Ralphs, Elishewitz's, and Striders. It's just that S30V cant' compare in objective cutting ability. I hope CRK makes a competing steel so we don't have to buy that Japanese ZDP stuff. Why can't we make the same but better here in the states?
