next shapton stone question...

Hi, have a question about my shaptons. I have the following- 220, 500, 1000, 6000. I would like to get another between 1k and 6k. Anyone with shapton experience please chime in and let me know what you think. Just asking about shaptons, have some diamond but just wondering about shaptons. Thanks, Russ

Im assuming this all glass stones?

Two options here , 2k or 3k. (assuming your using all glass and not a blend of glass and pro)

Going from the 1k -2k is a 2x jump , and then from the 2k-6k is a 3x jump.
Going from the 1k-3k is a 3x jump , and then from the 3k-6k is only a 2x jump.

I prefer having things spaced closer together lower down. The 1k-2k is an important step on the shapton glass and I would go with the 2k for sure.
