Next shop upgrade, 2x72 or heat treat oven?

Getting my tax return very soon so I’ll have a bit of money to make an upgrade in my workshop. Only I'm struggling to decide between upgrading my 1x30 grinder to a 2x72, or upgrading my heat treating set up from a gas forge to a homemade oven
My question really is which upgrade helped you guys improve your knife making more?
Is the greater variety in steel types more beneficial than having more grinding power and a VFD?
 
Second on the grinder. I’m in the same position as you and I’m going for the grinder because I believe it’s a skill that takes more attention and time to master. An oven and heat treating is more like just following a recipe precisely.

And..... There are Masters of heat treating out there/here.
That's a totalling different Art/Craft/Science.....
They Will be able to treat your blades.

Nobody is going to grind it for you

Didn’t mean to reduce the heat treating process to a simple math equation. Great recipes take time and practice too
