Just throwing it out there, but at the show I did see a Hanan prototype. Flipper compression lock. About a 3 1/2" blade.

If that does make it into production, that would be a winner. I do hope they keep the liners titanium, even if I have to spent a few more bucks. I don't mind.
 
I saw it, too. It was amazing. I haven't been able to find pictures of it anywhere, but it looked and felt great. I liked the modified compression lock and hope they keep it. (pretty sure we are talking about the same knife, anyways)
 
I would be happy if Spyderco released a non liner/frame lock flipper. Seems like all their flippers revolve around these two lock types.
 
They are. See the new Introvert. It's a lockback flipper.

I remember seeing that model but was so intrigued by forefinger hole I didn't notice the lock, haha. I'd like to check that one out in person.

If they could pull off a flipper with a compression lock, they'd sell like hot cakes.

Oh I'd be on that so fast. Just take the PM3 whatever they call it and add a flipper tab.
