If ZT were to do another factory custom run, like the 0392, which maker would you want to see in collaboration with them? I would personally love to see a ZT Graham Knives collaboration, especially with the razel. Any ideas?RAzel.png

G&G Hawk + Serge Panchenko. I wanna see this in 20CV with CF bolsters and a street price of ~$300.

A larger Orbit would be awesome, I'd buy one.

My personal suggestion would be a Brian Tighe Flipper Button Lock Collab. They've shown they can do the intricate milling, they don't have a button lock, he has very unique designs, I think it'd be a good combo. Something with a practical Tanto Blade, nothing too over the top grind-wise but in Brian's Style.

It'd be great if they got back to doing useful stuff and got away from all the art-design knives. I mean, either that, or just change your whole marketing up, ZT. Stop talking about hard-use this and no compromises that, and just straight up admit what you've become: "ZT: when you can't afford the real thing, buy our licensed copy of it instead!"

I am a big fan of honesty in marketing though, so I know that's not going to happen.

I feel like they stumbled upon this when they released the 392 and found that there was such a high demand for "factory customs". Hence why they said the 392 would be a "limited" run then proceeded to release 9 different variations of it and then came out with the 393...same with the 606 and 609.
Maybe they're having an identity crisis. "Do we stick to our original business model, or do we release knives that don't really fit it, but are going to make us a **** load of money".
But nonetheless, when they do a collab some really great knives come out of it.
