Hi Folks!

Please help me out.

It's the third time in 2 weeks that I sent a message to Mike at New Graham's which couldn't be delivered.

I've used the mdye@newgraham.com provided on his site.

Has anyone an optional email adress for NGK?

Calling will be a pain in the a** due to different timezones.

Thanks

Ive noticed someone else saying that they were having trouble contacting Mike through Email. Give them a call, they are great people and very nice with fantastic service.

I have had no luck contacting NGK through email since months ago, even tho' Mike Dye said the email was ok. Their mails get through to me tho'

So I called Mary Beth instead. She's really nice.

Mike, if you're there, I think maybe you should relook at the email problem. I know I missed out on the $10 tinkers because of the email issue.

I've sent today an email to NGK-Webmaster it also ends @newgraham.com

this is the message I got back (same as the previous emails to mike)

I'm not to much in tech stuff is it a problem on my or their end?

again transatlantic calls are not really an option

kind regards

Perhaps they have installed a filter that is mistaking your email for spam and blocking.

I will try to email him and point to this thread. Perhaps he can contact you by pm and sort out the email.

I sent an email to that address late night on the 12th and had a reply the next morning.

Not sure what is going on with incoming international emails...some folks apparently are not getting through, but we do receive international emails daily. I am not much with computers, so I will pass this along to my webmaster. Perhaps the PM feature here will work until this is sorted out by those smarter than me.
(Thanks to Ed for the heads up on this thread)
Regards, Mike @ New Graham

Just to let you know Mike, I have not been able to contact you by e-mail for some weeks. Not even by using "Reply" to the e-mails you previously sent me.

@mike

it seems that basic members can't PM :(

I just wanted to know if it's possible to get an international
shipping insurance for orders with a value say greater
than 200.00 - 300.00 bucks and how much it would be.

Please send me an email (fax number would be great to)

kind regards

Mike, the last two emails I sent off to you got the same message that hannes received so I don't think it's anything to do with location. That was like a month or so ago, just kinda gave up on it since it wasn't really important.

I've just had some e-mail problems myself. I use Incredimail to read and send mail, it's very good. I was receiving mail OK and mostly sending was OK too, but then I had to post to some addresses at AOL.com and another address in New Zealand. Every one was rejected. The headers said they were refused because my IP address was used to spam AOL. Anyway I was using a Yahoo address and had set the POP and SMTP to the Yahoo settings:
pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk
smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk

That was the problem, you should set the SMTP to the settings of your internet service provider. The e-mail you send will still appear to be from Yahoo.
This seems to have worked for me. If you are receiving mail OK but it's returned when you send or reply, check your SMPT settings.

jacknife,
how do I check/change my stmp settings like you mentioned? could you tell me how to do it step-by-step (ie. talk to me like I'm a six-year-old)? I'm not like a wiz on the pc....:( :o

thanks,
