** SOLD **
.......................I hand-picked this one for my personal collection; NIB just as it came from the factory.....NEVER used, carried or sharpened.
SEKI MADE, COCOBOLO BLACKJACK SMALL HUNTER with AUS-10 - A compact workhorse in a VERY dressy package with all the bells and whistles. : made in Seki City, Japan; mirror polished AUS-10 blade, convex ground, brass guard, genuine cocobolo handles with through-tang construction. Small but very capable. I carry one whenever I go "woodsbumming". In the field I find this Blackjack model to be as much knife as most outdoorsmen need. Hunters like it for deer, and with a three-inch blade it is the right size for an everyday companion knife. The average time between touching up the edge is about two deer......and the Blackjack Small is going to do that without staining; I've used mine hard, and the blade is still mirror bright. The convex edge is remarkably sharp and very easy to maintain in the field. The grain on the Cocobolo handle is quite handsome, while the leather sheath is top notch. These knives were made to be used....and used hard.
All original packaging included !
This Cocobolo model, made in Japan with AUS-10, has been discontinued for some time......and production has moved to China using Chinese steel. The new ones have kraton handles and are not at all like the old Seki-made models.
