For sale is a NIB Mcusta MC-12 series knife, Model MC-121. This knife has carved, black Micarta scales. The blade is VG-10 running about 60HRC. Mcustas are not die stamped but rather LASER cut. The "M" insignia on the blade is LASER cut through for a nice effect. I have two of these, selling one and keeping one. The metrics are 4 1/2" closed, 3 5/8" blade length and 8" overall. The knife weighs in around 3 ounces accoring to the web site where I bought the knife (japaneseknifedirect.com). This knife has a D hole opener and is open construction. The blade is almost dead center and the action is smooth. The edge is factory and very sharp as VG-10 is so capable of. The pocket clip carries extremely deep and is L/R reversible, tip up only. Lockup is early and rock solid in all directions.
