I'm a bit surprised my NIB mini-Manix didn't sell for $150.00. What is a good price for this knife?

My sons want to sell some of their collection. We don't have the box and there are some light scratches on the front of the blade, but it's never been used - just sat in the display case. I guess one of the boys (I'll never get 'em to tell who did what) has something to do with tiny scratches. Anyway, they've done a lot of research and the Mini Manix they are selling is priced at $110 before the package deal. They have 70+ knives they want to sell and tried to come up with a package discount that will move all the knives so they can buy....you guessed it....some Busse's.

Best,

Mike

I think youve have it priced about right.

Your trouble may be that there are some newer and more desirable knives

in the same price range that your mini is competing with.

I sold three large Manixes and one Mini in the exchange a while back and the going rate ranged from $150ish to $185ish. These were all NIB, centered blade or close enough and two were the FG flavor.

Maybe I hit a dead spot in peoples spending. I believe $150 is a very reasonable price point. Maybe I will try again next year.

Set a firm price on it, if you go the Ebay route select a "Buy it Now" or OBO and see what comes in. No need to wait a year, just keep your ear to the ground and look for signs. A new ALL BLACK Manix 2 will be released soon, this will definitely boost interest in this blade again.

The great thing about selling on BFC is that you don’t have to pay auction fee’s. Decide what you want to get out of it (I think that your price is about right) and bump the thread every 72 hours it costs ya nothing. It will sell eventually, certainly long before next year.

That is a good range for it, if I had the money I'd get it from you in that condition for $150

yep itz set bout right, you are neck to neck in the new manix with a different lock,if it was mine it would not be for sale................

I saw one regular manix in ebay at 100 dollars. Would have bought it too if not for the present ban in the Philippines on "firearms and weapons". whatever that means.

The last 3-4 mini manix i have bid on at e-bay went from 76.00 to 105.00.I don't know if they were PE on all but the last one was NIB combo edge and sold for 96.00 on 4-24-10

I personally haven't seen a mini-manix go for anywhere close to 150 yet on ebay. Least not in the past 2 months.

The large Manix's i have bid on in the last month sold between 129.01 and 213.00. The 213.00 suprised me because it was combo edge and not a sprint run.

I think some get folks they know to bid on some of these. Last month several Chinook I's popped up and the first one sold for almost 300. Several were out after that and sold mid 200s. Then a couple went for around 175.00
