I just got today 4 NIB Camillus riggers (2 695's, a 696 and a 697). All were in plastic sleeves that were kind of semi-stuck to the knives. Seems the knives have a bit of cosmoline or other grease on them that caused the plastic to stick to them, especially the scales. Clean off the grease and throw awya the plastic or leave them in the plastic sleeves?

If your wanting to save them for the future, leave them as they are. If your wanting to show them as a collection, then remove the oil, but every so often, wipe them down and add a light oil to the metal.
Even if you do clean them, keep the sleeves, as it will make them worth more later.

Thanks. I'll probably keep them as they are a bit longer. Still trying to decide about these as to whether they will display or be held.
