depends Id say about which run it is?

new run or older run

new ones are hott right now, but a lot of people lost their shirts on the last run.

I dont exactly know why, either?!

The 4" FB NICA tanto was a limited edition of 150 knives about 4-5 or so years ago. They sold at retail for $175-200, quite a bargain for a collector of a small run limited edition, IMO, although even at those reasonable prices it took awhile for the edition to sell out. CRK has produced a "limited production" 4" tanto with a different tanto grind over the years (haven't seen a run of these in quite awhile), but the NICA tanto grind won't be made again, a fact that I feel enhances its desirability as a collector piece, if not its value.
Current value would be simply what someone is willing to pay for one today. My guess is that most of these are in the hands of collectors as I have not seen one for resale, ever!
