I am a true junkie for every flea market, pawn shop , antique shop, and or whatever or wherever else may sell old knives. Always hoping and waiting to see that old timer treasure in the back of a case, or that uh in a "everythings 5 bucks" box. But for the last few months Ive found a few at my regular stops but not many schrades,( which is what Im REALLY after). Until today, Now I didint hit the jackpot or anything crazy like a 2ot or something but it was good for me personally.

Now this perticular pawn shop never has any desent knives usually an overpriced buck or 2 and china junk. Same today. Big glass case... Nothing, Big wall case... Nothing. Rotating case,,, What the heck it that???? Now from what I saw I would have bet my left arm that was a sheath for a 167uh. But the handle was black.. Dang junker in a good sheath. But at a second glance It resembled a grafillet??? So I asked to look. Sure enough Schrade+ GF45 USA. With a advertising blade etch none the less. I asked what they wanted for it and he said hows $6 bucks sound and I replied " Like a deal". dosent appear to be used, a little dirty yea but good enough.

I have 5 or 6 of the GF knives but I forgot how great these feel in the hand. They fit better than any other knife ever has in my hand (Imho.) All the gf's I have came with the black leather sheath's but this sheath fits it suprisingly well. they never came in these did they??? later - Joel
