A pair of "theatre" knives, actual ages unknown.
The upper knife has Bakelite poker chips used in the handle, back is a false edge but close to being honed sharp. One of the best made knives of this type I have seen in a while.
I looked through Cole's book but cab't find an example of the blade profile, any leads are appreciated.
The lower has both red and "uranium" Plexiglas, which i have not seen used before.

Picked up a total of 6 for $100, and it wasn't even my birthday!

Cool blades! That top one has a sort of Scagel look to it in the blade.

Excellent score!! Best part of knives like these is the stories they let you create, pondering where they've been and what they've seen...

Each is pretty much unique, until you find a duplicate.

Pic of all 6.

They look like Theater Knives, which were knives from WWII where the service member(usually Americans) took pre-existing blades and made handles out of parts that were available where they were.

There is a market for them, and they are quite collectible.
