Hello,

Today I called CRK in ID. I pleasantly found out that they sharpen and service most of their knives for free..!!!!?? Great!!

One other question that I had >> I have a ebony Mnandi. The wood has been very dull and has a patch that is actually duller and milled slightly lower than the rest of the wood on one side.


I was wondering if they could switch it out??? Maybe to Camel Thorn for both sides.


Have any of you had this done?? What do you think the cost might be??

Jon, I asked them about replacing a wood on my mnandi and they said they could do that or even change woods. Not sure on the pricing for this. You'd best ask them to make sure. Policies can change, etc.

I recently purchased an Mnandi w/Camel Thorn Inlay from Plaza Cutlery and I have to say that it is a beautiful Inlay. I'm sure you'll be pleased with the results if you are able to get the inlays switched out. Good luck. Let us know what happens.

CRK folks are great people to deal with. I had a question and they responded quickly and were very helpful inspite of the fact that they could not do what I asked for. Customer service is great!! :thumbup:
