I like my older Buck's a great deal, so I thought I would try some new offerings, priced to go easy on the budget. I feel Buck has done really well with these. The Canoe is a home run & carries like a dream!

It is truly amazing that they can put out such premium quality knives at such ridiculously low prices!!!

Nice little herd.

Nice knives you have there, I need to get some of them... Like that top one...

Thanks. The top knife, Buck Lite Max is indeed a nice knife & light as a feather. I had issues with the sharpness of the finger grove between the index & middle finger, so I rounded it down a bit. Also the top area where the thumb rides was very uncomfortable, so I removed it in full, allowing a flat purchase area which in my opinion is MUCH better. The Avid's 13C26 steel is really nice and grows on me evey day. I still think the 440C is tops, but the 13C26 is a close second & hope to see it on a 110 someday!

You guys are forcing me into a bad situation-I got a wife trimming the Buck budget and you keep showing those "must have" bucklites. Looks like I'm in for another a**whoopin;)

The weather brightened up a bit, so why not get the other favorite folders in the mix...well it is still a bit dark, sorry about the pic.

:D Just take it like a man! It will be worth it. A good butt whippin' never hurt anyone. I could use one myself.;)

Hi David, That Selector has been on a good number of hunts and processed its fair share of deer. The knife in my photo is my Blind Horse Knives Bushcrafter # 265 in 01 steel. It is a wonderful all around fixed blade. It is my hope that Buck will produce a blade geared towards bushcraft use in the 13C26 steel. I think it would be a great seller & grab a large portion of that growing market. Is it OK to derail my own thread??
