Nice Little group to make sheaths for

nice job Brian. I cant believe how fast you put out those knives!
It takes me a week to figure out what handle material to use.

Keep up the good work.

Michael

And the way your leatherwork is coming along, a nice little group of sheaths it'll be. :D You've really nailed your handles too Brian. I remember your first post, how wet behind the ears you were, and look at you now! Mercy, you're there. Nice work and thanks for sharing.

I too find the green-handled one to be the the prettiest of the good-looking lot :) How long is the blade on that one ?

Here is what I do to the handles....
For micarta I take them to 220 grit then go at it with 0000 steel whool. Not as slick or shiny as a polish.
With the wood I always take them to 400 grit and use teak oil.......0000 steel whool in between coats.

Thanks for the complement Dave!
Michael - I dont crank them out that fast :D It took me about 3 weeks to get these to this point....I wish it were more like 3 days!

Need to create that choil huh Kim?

NICE! I like them all but I too like the green handled one the best. can't wait to see the complete package. :D

It'll be about 4.5 inch - Right Brian??!! :)

I missed that question....The blade is between 4 1/2" and 4 5/8" with an overall of 9 3/16".
