Well the weight is more like a boys axe at 2 lbs and 14.5 oz., but the overall length is only 18 inches.

I didn't snap any before pics, but it was in decent shape, only with a pretty big chip out of the edge and some pronounced drop forging marks on the top. So I just cleaned it up a bit while redoing the edge. This one has some of the best cheeks and geometry I've come across. It also has the original handle and wedge, from what I can tell.

Plumb had many different slogans like that - defense, victory, guaranteed, etc. they related to different things, and as mentioned defense and victory were in relation to ww2.

Thanks all.

Any opinions about putting it on a boys axe handle? I have been looking for a boys axe with no luck:(

I gave a Plumb Victory boys axe to my nephew a few weeks ago. It had a 28" helve on it.

These are all Plumb boys axes.
The one on the bottom was the one I gave him. The picture was taken before I cleaned her up with a metal brush.
