The Village News has done several articles on me over the years. Earlier this week, the photographer/agent came by to take one or two photos of my knives for a fathers day ad. He was impresses with the many other things in our "Jewelers Handmade Items" showcase, all which I hand make, so he took a couple dozen group shots. He put this little "Feature Article" in the paper, as well as made me a CD of these and the other photos.
He came by again to get pricing to add to the photos, so people who see the items online or in the paper will know what a great deal they are. I think this is a really nice article and a great free advertizement.

Well I finally get to say I know someone famous ;0)

You will probably be hip deep in customers for the month

really cool. I want one of them coffee scoops!

Stacy , you make nice stuff. Could you make coffee by dunking those spoons in hot water ? The best to me are the violin pens .

Really great stuff. I was hoping to see some more blades, but this is really cool! Do you ship to Canada? I would love one of those coffee scoops.

I got the coffee scoops today. My mother loves hers. Thanx! I really like mine too :).

Stacy, that little skinner in tamahagane caught my eye... do you have any bigger pics of that? Where'd you get the steel, through workshop heaven europe or something?

I bought fifty or so blanks from a retiring smith in Japan. They were sufficiently pre-shaped to be exported as "knives". They don't allow the tamahagane exported in sheet/bar from what I understand. There were two styles of the same blade blank, full tang and stick tang. I have used most of the full tang blanks, but still have a bunch of the stick tang ones left.

I have customers in your area. I will make it a point to stop in. Very nice work.
