I'm not much of Buck collector but I did happen upon a Buck 110 IonFusion a forum member was selling at a reasonable price. A co-worker was heading out for dear season and mentioned he was under-knifed. I asked him to come back and see me the next day and I would ensure he had the proper tool for this hunting trip.

I sharpened up the 110 IonFusion and off it went with him to camp.

Here is what he sent me today:

Jason,
I wanted to let you know that although I personally did not shoot a deer this year. I did use your knife to field dress two Bucks last week.
The knife seemed to have stayed as sharp for the second deer as it did for the first one.
Thank You for loaning it to me.
The other hunters saw the ease I had cutting the deer and asked what kind of knife it was, I played with their minds and said it is simply a buck knife.,
It took a while until they noticed the gold coloring of the metal. Someone who is a knife collector spoke up and explained the gold coloring to everyone and now are looking for one for themselves.

Thanks Again,
Sol

Now I need to take my collection in another direction ;) LOL :D

They are awesome!

Im giving my son and son-inlaw each a 192 IF for Christmas this year. One is miss-stamped 692.I think Ill look for user 110 for a edc in IF to try it out...is there a 426 IFor a 500? The 192s are the sharpest factory blade Ive ever seen.

I don't know of any 426's or 500's either... I am unsure if those 192's are misstamped or Buck just tried to use the extra blades up? I have seen several of the wood handled "692's" and own one. There are quite a few of them around from that model year!
Watch for a user Crosslock, there are lots of that model to try!

AHHHH, What would be a fair price for one? and what model number is a crosslock ?(newbbie) The Gold blades sure are purty!
