Hi all--as the thread title suggests, looking around to find who is making nice quality slipjoint sleeves, preferably in Hermann Oak/Horween/etc. type leathers. Anybody have good experiences to report with folks on Etsy/Instagram/etc.? Opinions and advice much appreciated. Thanks!

They're really easy to make, maybe it's time to get a bag of leather scraps from the craft store and try your hand at some leather work.
I normally make a simple fold over type .you can make one in about 10min, especially if you flatten a fork to make evenly spaced holes.

I don't know what an Etsy/Instagram is :D but I think you might find something like that in the exchange here at Bladeforums. Or if you have a Tandy Leather in your town, go check it out. You can buy small pieces of vegetable tanned leather and make your own. It's fun and easy. :)

Check out Scout Leather company. Somebody had a couple on the exchange a week or two ago. I'm happy with mine and it's Horween cxl

You can also get some pretty nice ones for a reasonable price from Collector Knives . I have 3 or 4 that I use on a regular basis and they do the job for me.

I have several that CK sells. They're simple, but very nicely made. The only bad thing is that now I can carry more than one knife in each pocket... :)

I own several of Mike's. They are very nice indeed. Great leather, thin enough, nicely sewn. Conform to the knife well.

"Where to buy" threads are always a bit iffy. Please remember that there are craftsman members here who pay extra to sell. So let's support those folks and the dealer members instead of others.

I have a couple of Barry's (Gunstockjack), and he really does a great job

I've also been lucky enough to receive them from r8shell, and from Paul Mason's missus, Jan, too :)
