Hey guys,

I contacted Normark a few weeks ago, if he wanted to make 2 sheaths for me. I wanted new pants for my Ontario RAT-5 and TAK-1. My 2 favourite bush(craft) knives. I needed a beltloop and preferable a firesteel holder.
What can I say.....what a craftsman is Normark. Fantastic work overall. The knives and firesteel all fit very snug, and the knives come out very nice too. Not too stiff, and but absolutely not too loose. There is no rattle at all, when the knives are in the sheath.
Contact was friendly and fast, just like the delivery.

Overall a fantastic guy to deal with, who makes an absolutely great product for your toys!! I'll buy again from him!

I love Eric / Normark's sheaths. I planning on getting a few made for some of my blades.

Thanks for sharing the great pictures. :D

Myakka,

You really should give yourself a break and let Eric make you some very nice sheaths!

It's a really nice person to deal with, and his work is, as you can see, fantastic!

I sent him an order via paypal a few days ago for another Frost Mora SwAK sheath. Excellent work and a great guy. One of these months, I'll get one for the Becker Necker.

Hey Guys..

Thanks much.. Appreciated...

CZ..

I'm Very pleased you are happy with the sheaths. They should serve you well...

A little trick with your firesteels that I do..
They are actually meant to be inserted upside down...

Take a piece of 550 cord, and tie a long loop on one end..
The loop should be long enough that the handle of the firesteel easily fits through it...

Insert the loop through an eyelet closest to the fire steel holder. Tie the Firesteel onto the other end of cord, and adjust so that the entire firesteel will fit through the loop...
Adjust it so you just have enough cord to go through..

Once happy with the length,, melt the ends and bind the hot melted paracord to the knot so it can't come undone...

Insert the steel into the holder from the bottom. This way the handle of the steel doesn't interfere with your belt.

Now the firesteel is attached to the sheath without fear of it getting tugged out and lost.
If you like you can tie in your scraper into the loop,or simple use you knife...

Hope that helps..

Thanks again and Enjoy..
Any problems at all,, please feel free to drop me a note any time...

Hey Coyote...

What size do you need ??

Thanks will send you an e-mail.
PS
I love the sheath, it holds the knife much more secure then I thought it would

Normark's sheathes look THE business:thumbup:

Pity he doesn't do leather though as I have some traditional Barkies that cry out for a decent leather sheath.

Hey Guys..
