Nice, Relaxing Day!

After I heat treated this morning, I took the rest of the day off for errands. It was nice today, so we took my oldest daughter and youngest grandaughter over to Crown Point Indiana. We went to a huge candy store where they make it right there. 4.5 lbs of sour gummy worms, (my downfall) for $5, 1 lb of pistachio nuts for $3.99, and 2 lbs of cherry slices for $4. Then we showed them the courthouse and jail where Dillinger escaped from, and walked around the old downtown square, checking out the antique stores. Then we stopped at Tandy Leather (the main reason for going) to resupply, and they have closed the store! It was actually cheaper to drive there to buy it than ordering from the Illinois store, cheaper tax and no $15 shipping charge. I guess I`ll have to order instead.

Sounds like a good day except for the leather. While I'm home I'll have to check into some local stores. We don't have sales tax...
