I just had to brag a bit. I was craigslisting today and scored pretty well off a fella who was moving and closing down his woodworking garage.
First item is one of the old craftsman table saws, the bullet proof ones that typically sell for $200-300. It came with the fence a dado blade, several guards and a few jigs. I got it for $75
Second is a ridgid portable air filter. Got it for $25
And third is a small sample of the exotic woods he had on hand. $10
Small stick of mahogany
two sticks of Borneo Rosewood
and one stick of palaquium
this guy literally had thousands of lbs of exotic hardwoods. I just ran out of cash after a few :barf:
I scaled out a piece of the Borneo Rosewood, and this is some seriously beautiful stuff. I can't wait to put it on a knife.
