I just wanted to post a nice score I got in the mail today (off e-bay). Because I'm a knife dork and you're the only people that would appreciate it.
I bought an Ontario Rat 3 Collector's series that was listed as having "wood handles." I could not find any information online about wood handled collector series by Ontario, but saw quite a bit about them with Ram's horn handles. I "won" it for $70 shipped and got it in the mail today. It's definitely the one with Ram's horn in D2 and it's an awesome knife. The grinds are a little uneven, but the feel of the knife is superb. Still very sharp and no staining. The scales are in excellent condition and the sheath is also in excellent condition. I bought this knife w/ the anticipation of putting it up for trade here on the forums, but I think I like it just too dang much. It's a really, really cool knife. It really blows my Esee Rat 3 out of the water. It's got aggressive jimping on the spine. The handles are very thick, but fit my (smallish) hands very well. It's just a cool, cool knife. Might need to put my Benchmade 210 up for sale now as I can't imagine using it over this knife.
Sometimes e-bay surprises you. I think if it had been listed as having Ram's horn handles it would have gone for a bit more.
