It seems to be brought up often enough, and I didn't see any threads recently-made that approach the topic specifically, so here we go.
I've read that .45 mag pouches are a perfect or near fit for the Wave and Charge (same form factor) but they typically don't have storage for other related items like the bit kit or other accessories.
The standard cases that come with the tools are known to fall apart in a relatively short time, have very questionable ergonomics, and are of limited usefulness overall. They also seem to be plagued by what many describe as a "Made in China feel." In fact, the leather sheath I got with my Charge has had a noticable and ugly crack in the flap since the first time I opened it! The nylon Wave sheath that I purchased is an improvement, but has a very flimsy feel and re-sheathing the tool is a clumsy endeavor. Fit in either case is okay with just the tool, but add in a bit kit to the rear pocket or slide a pen into one of the side "pockets" (assuming you have one small enough) and the sheath gets a little too tight around the tool for easy draw and replacement.
Personally, I have the desire to carry the bit driver w/ standard bits with me as well, and the bit driver comes in a cheap plastic case (complete with flimsy belt clip) that makes the worst of the multitool sheaths look like a work of art. I've looked for a sheath capable of holding both the tool and the associated bit driver that didn't have a serious shortcoming, and I've continually come up empty.
Any thoughts?
