Looking for something that looks nice. My two favorites so far are Boker Copperliner (but no clip) and Chris Reeve Mnandi (more $$ than I was hoping). Would love it to have a descent steel. I know I'm asking a lot :o , any sugestions?

The ZDP189 Delica or if you can find one the burgundy Calypso Jr. in laminated ZDP189. Both are great knives, w/ great steel.

One of the other great deals going is the Spyderco Native now being sold at Wal-Marts for $40. This is a steal for a knife in CPMS30V blade steel.

If a beater is just what you are looking for check out the Dozier Folding hunter models at around $20. They are one of the best deals in cutlery right now.

One other knife that I just bought and am really really impressed with is the Cold Steel Ultimate Hunter. This folder is the best CS knife I've ever bought. Thermorun handles a 3.5" blade of AUS8A steel and this one has steel liners with a tip up carry pocket clip. I paid just over $50 for it and its one of those I'm getting two of. When I find a great one and can afford it I always do that.

How about a Buck/Mayo TNT? Or like has been mentioned, and IF you can find one; a Spyderco Calypso, Jr. burgundy handled (ZDP 189).

Spyderco Centofante III, a knife with style. And very decent steel.
If only decent materials is good also, the Spyderco Salt series are wonderful. Their looks will have to grow on you however.

My Edc Is A Boker Copperliner With Stag Handles. It Is A Very Comfortable Pocket Knife And Sets Well In The Hand. The Opening Action Is Very Smooth And I Sharpen On A Lansky At 15 Degree Angle That Will Scare The Hair Off A Bears Ass. Even Though It Does Not Have A Clip, It Carries Well.
