I finally paid the final medical bill I had back in February, and got my savings back to where I am comfortable. The bills were from the spinal stroke I had this past July, and even though I am still in a wheelchair, and may be for the long run, I still enjoy my hobby! Truth be told, if I didn't practice a little restraint I would have packages arriving daily, and would be eating Ramens noodles every day. Anyone else find this to be true?

But there is knife content because I splurged a bit today, and don't think I am yet through. I have an all black BM 275 Adamas arriving Friday or Saturday. But tomorrow I have a MV 2 Shadow Hawke 2 arriving, along with a Fantoni HB01 with forest green G-10 scales, and I am psyched!
The Fantoni is an Italian made knife. It is a collabaration between Fantoni and William Harsey. It was actually designed for Beretta, but now Fantoni is producing it under their own name. It has a 4" blade of S30V that is 5/32" thick, or for those into decimals, .157" thick, either way I like the little extra thickness. Don't particularlly like the clip, but it may be "fixable"
The MV 2 is not one I know much about. It is a mid tech knife designed by Michael Vagnino, and I do not think he would put his name on anything of which he did not approve. It has thick ti liners, carbon fiber handles, and a thick blade of Bohler K110 tool steel. I really love the look of this
knife and will try to get some pics up. I generally like a 4" blade, but a 3 5/8" blade, along with a 5" handle, and a weight of 6.2 ounces, is close enough for me.
