A got a call late Sunday afternoon from my brother wanting to go fishing at the local lake for some small 'Reddies' to fill the damn. I humbly accepted and off we tootle-ood.
We had about 6 or 7 reddies in the esky when a nice cast near a sunken log produced the fellow seen below. Now, the Brown was about 1.5Lb cleaned and 42cm long. The catch is (pun intended), that the lake is not that renowned for fish of this caliber at all, so you can imagine how pleased I was to bag this sucka! My HR was also pleased to clean him for me. The Brown is in the oven as I type this...
