Indeed it does: the film-maker seems to have paralleled khukuri design, in many respects.

In a link on the same YouTube page, I found this one, as well as a few others that might be helpful for using khuks, machetes, bolos, and what-have-you. Owners of Jungle bowies, HI Bolos, and Bamboo Cutters, please take note!
