Hi all!

I just got this new maxpedition backpack. I would like to find a kydex sheath for my waki that I can strap to the side of the pack (picture).

I would like the sheath to attach securely to the webbing, and then I will further secure it with the compression straps that can be seen in the picture.

Any kydex sheaths that have a way to attach to the straps on the pack?

Thanks!

You could use Tek-Lok's on the Molle straps. The sheath maker can provide them pre-connected to the sheath. You wouldn't want to try and add them after the fact. Or at least I wouldn't want to. Talk to your sheath maker about what you want to accomplish. He can fix you up.

I have a maxped Sitka that I am wanting to do the same thing with. I would probably ask who ever makes your sheath to space the eyelets so that you can maybe use 2 techlocks to add some stability and ride height options.

Guys,

The Okuden rigs Eric has at the store are compatible with the Blade Tech MOLLE LOK. Just the ticket!

You can order the Loks from either Blade Tech or myself and large ones run something like $7/pair and smalls $6 if memory serves. (Even if I'm wrong I can't be off by more than $1 or so either way.) I'd go with 2 pair of smalls.

If that is the pygmy falcon II the sword will be a bit heavy on one side... i tried attaching the same way, not ideal for tactical zombie slaying

you will just have to buy another waki to balance it out:)

Yea I am thinking the double tech loks might be my best bet.

The pack is the condor ll. I am not really worried about the balance cause I can always put another peice of gear on the other side.
